Embrun Skating Club - Covid-19 Regulations - 2021-2022

 

Proof of vaccination (according to provincial guidelines and EOHU policy)

  • Before accessing the Embrun arena, the following groups must show proof of identification and proof of being fully vaccinated against COVID-19 before they can enter.
    • Parents/guardians and spectators 12 years old and over
    • Coaches, officials and volunteers 12 years old and over
    • Participants 12 years old and over
  • The following groups are exempt:
    • Participants under 12 years old

 

Self-assessment & Screening

  • A self-assessment MUST be done before participating in any Embrun Skating Club activity using the provincial tool found here: https://covid-19.ontario.ca/screening/customer/.
    • Applies to participants and spectators
    • Must be done before every session

 

Masks

  • It is mandatory that ALL individuals wear a mask prior to and following their ice time (i.e., in the common areas of the building, in the dressing rooms, etc.).  A mask is not required when on the ice.

 

Arrival and Departure

  • Participants will have access to the arena 30 minutes prior to their ice time and will have 20 minutes to vacate. 
  • Distinctive entrances and exits will be identified to avoid proximity. 
  • Spectators will be required to sign in upon entering (not applicable to participants).

 

Physical Distancing

  • Any person who enters or uses the facility must maintain a physical distance of at least 2 metres from any other person in all facility areas.
  • Change rooms are accessible and participants must maintain 2 metres distancing. 

 

Spectators

  • Spectators attending the ice session must complete the COVID-19 customer screening prior to entering the facility (https://covid-19.ontario.ca/screening/customer/).
  • Spectators will be required to sign in upon entering.
  • Spectators will be allowed in the arena 5 minutes prior to the ice time, unless they’re helping their child get ready for their ice time.
  • Restrictions:
    • no gatherings in the lobby
    • no in and out privilege
    • spectators can only return to the lobby to use the washrooms
    • no eating or drinking in the stands
    • exit the arena immediately after the ice session
